Construction videography runs on your programme, not ours. Pours, lifts and roof on days only happen once, so we book around the build and turn up while it is happening. We plan the shots before we arrive, because filming without a list is how you end up with four hours of footage and no film. On the day the trades keep going, so most of what we shoot is people doing their job rather than people pretending to. Then we edit in house: colour, sound, music and the aspect ratio cuts you actually need.

What does construction videography cost?
It depends on the film, how many site visits it needs and whether drone is part of it. We scope it with you first, then send one written proposal with the shoot days, the edit and the price in one place.
What is the difference between a build film and progress content?
A build film is the finished piece, cut once the job is done, and it lives on your website and in your proposals. Progress content is filmed at milestones along the way, like the slab pour, frame up and roof on, and goes out while the build is still happening so people can follow it.
How should we get the site ready?
Clear offcuts and rubbish from the areas you want seen, tell the crew we are coming, and walk us through the details you are proud of, the joinery, the cladding, the junction that took three goes to get right. We work around everything else.
Can you fly a drone over any site?
Most of them. We fly under CAA Part 101, which means the owner’s permission for the property, staying clear of controlled airspace near airports and keeping a safe distance from people. If a site sits inside controlled airspace, you hear about it before the shoot, not on the day.
Do you film outside Tauranga?
Yes. We are based in Mount Maunganui and film for builders across New Zealand.
