Social media manager
You’ll run social media for a small number of our clients to start, with more as we grow.
I shoot and edit the photos and video. You take it from there: captions, planning, posting, and looking after each account like it’s your own.
Type
Contractor
Accounts
A small number of clients
Location
Anywhere in New Zealand. Local to Tauranga would be great.
Start

What you’ll do
Write captions and plan each client’s month
Schedule and post across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile
Build carousels and simple graphics in Canva
Reply to comments and engage as each client
Report the numbers each month, with what you’d change
Try new formats and bring ideas to the table
What matters most
The part that matters most is what happens after a post goes up. Reading the numbers, working out why something landed, and keeping across what the platforms are rewarding this month, not two years ago. Our clients are builders. They’re not tracking any of that, and they shouldn’t have to.
Who it suits
Someone who spends time on these platforms anyway and notices what’s working. Organised, meets deadlines without being chased, and brings ideas rather than waiting to be told.
You can write in a builder’s voice and leave the account looking like they posted it themselves. A design eye helps.
Some experience in Meta Ads Manager would be great, but it isn’t needed.
About Onsite Media
Onsite Media is a construction content and marketing business in Mount Maunganui. We work with builders and trade businesses around Tauranga and Auckland as the marketing arm of their company. Photography, video, websites, and the social media that puts it all in front of their next client.
